Differential Pressure Control Valve
Shut-off and Pre-regulation Valve
The differential pressure control valve keeps the difference in pressure found in two points of a plumbing circuit at a
constant level, according to the set value.
The balancing valve (shut-off and pre-regulation) regulates the thermal medium flow rate supplied to the part of the circuit
controlled by the differential pressure control valve.

1. The differential pressure control valve is suitable for
closed-loop circulation systems, where it automatically
maintains the differential pressure between two points in
the system.
2. The balancing valve (shut-off and pre-regulation) is
designed to adjust the flow rate of the thermal medium
supplied to the specific circuit segment under the control
of the differential pressure regulating valve.
3. By enabling the regulation of differential pressure
values to suit pre-specified design flow rates, the system
is protected against noise generation and excessive flow
velocity in variable flow rate operation modes.
4. The differential pressure control valve is applicable to a
variety of systems:
? Zone or riser systems;
? Condensing boiler systems;
? Combined heat and power systems;
? Variable flow rate systems equipped with two-way
thermostatic valves or analog control valves.
Multi-function handwheel enabling closing, adjusting, and
flushing operations without additional tools.
In the case that the space is limited and the water supply
and return stop valve is not allowed to be installed, the
pressure difference regulating valve has the function of
breaking and the function of restoring the set memory.
Subsequent to the completion of flow rate balancing, the
Memory mechanism can be engaged via the following
procedure: insert an Allen key into the designated
hole (A) on the balancing valve and turn the key fully
clockwise,without exerting excessive force.
The operation makes the valve set at maximum open
position. If required, the circuit may be shut off by rotating
the knob fully clockwise manually. Turn the knob fully
counterclockwise, and you can return the valve to the set
balancing position.
In this way, there is no need to set the differential pressure
value after the cut-off and maintenance system.

Hydraulic Characteristics
1. Install valve delivery pipe according to the flow direction shown on the body valve and connect it to the delivery pipe
with the capillary tube.
2. We recommend installing a shut-off valve both upstream and downstream, in addition to a filter to stop debris.
3. Valve can be installed in any direction (horizontally and/or vertically).
4. When starting the system, vent the air from the capillary tube. To carry out this operation, screw the capillary tube on
valve without tightening it completely.
