What is marine aquaculture cage?
A marine aquaculture cage is a floating and anchored enclosure engineered for cultivating aquatic products in open sea
areas. It makes use of extensive marine waters without occupying land, thereby saving resources and benefiting from
excellent water quality. Different from indoor or pond-based aquaculture, marine aquaculture leverages seawater flow for
continuous water renewal and exchange. This process naturally flushes out residual feed and fish excretions without the need
for auxiliary power facilities, while maintaining stable dissolved oxygen levels and superior water quality. These optimal
environmental conditions promote fish growth and production. Thus, fish cultivated in marine cages not only achieve faster
growth rates, but also attain a quality closely resembling that of fish from natural marine environments.

Cage culture is a vital method in marine aquaculture with strong growth potential. Traditional marine cages are built with materials
such as bamboo, wood, and foam floats. Due to their poor structural stability and weak resistance to wind and waves, they can only
be installed in inner bays and nearshore areas. This often leads to overcrowding in farming zones, resulting in pollution, higher
disease risks, and other issues.
New-generation marine aquaculture cages developed by LESSO feature an integrated structure made of high-strength HDPE. With
standardized key components, these cages offer strong resistance to wind, waves, and currents. Their advantages include high
flexibility, quick installation, ease of overall relocation, environmental protection, and strong durability.

The company mainly manufactures marine cage pipe products with standard dimension ratios (SDR) of 13.6 and 17.
Standard product colors are black or yellow; other colors are available upon agreement by the supplier and buyer. Standard pipe
lengths of cages are generally 9m or 12m;other lengths are subject to agreement between the supplier and buyer.
Unlike conventional linear fixing methods currently on the market,
LESSO anchoring system adopts an advanced tension-buffering
structure. The forces acting on the cage are distributed across
multiple points via primary and secondary cables, minimizing the
impact of wind and waves on the cage in harsh sea conditions and

Made from high-strength HDPE, LESSO marine cage
frame provides excellent flexibility and elasticity to
effectively absorb wave impact and prevent damage.
The brackets adopt an innovative double-layer structure,
paired with continuous walkway for safer and easier
personnel access and operations. Compared with
ordinary discontinuous injection-molded walkway
commonly used in the industry, this continuous walkway
design distributes loads evenly, preventing load stress

polyethylene (HDPE) through extrusion and injection molding processes.
