retrieving loads of all kinds are in the MIAS DNA.
MIAS is a leading German manufacturer of warehouse equipment.
It offers design, engineering, and manufacturing of telescopic forks
and AS/RS systems.
Today, the MIAS Group employs more than 700 people. The company
is globally established, with its headquarters in Munich and
subsidiaries in China, Hungary, the United States, and Australia.
The annual output is approximately 15,000 units of various
telescopic forks and 300 units of stacker cranes.

Telescopic Fork with Belt Conveyor
The telescopic forks with lateral belt conveyor can be
used to place in storage and retrieve containers and
cartons up to a maximum weight of 100 kg, up to five
levels deep, in shelf compartments.
Our positive-locking drive concept enables high dynamic
values to be achieved. Thanks to the alignment and
centering of the load via flaps on the load handling
equipment, the exact positioning of the load can be
ensured.

At the end of the 70s, the double-deep pallet telescopic
fork followed the single-deep version, bringing enormous
cost savings.
The range has been extended to include the single-tine,
double-deep pallet telescopic table. The version with
a wide plate upper part is specially designed for closed
pallets such as Chep pallets that do not have any free
space for fork tines.

PUSH & PULL SYSTEMS
The PUSH & PULL SYSTEMS is designed for dense storage
of boxes. Moving without lifting so the boxes need to be
stacked at a very low height. The innovative push and
pull design allows for tighter space between the boxes,
resulting in more stacked boxes and ensuring heavier
loads than normal clamping and belt conveyor solutions.

Battery-powered Fork Anti-collision Switch
(TouchStop)
This anti-collision device is used to make an emergency stop
after the fork collides, and can effectively prevent the fall of
goods such as pallets, as well as the deformation and damage
of the shelf or the fork body.It adopts wireless transmission,
with a maximum distance of up to 20 meters, and with the
additional external omnidirectional antenna, the transmission
distance can reach 50m.
This functional device is divided into two parts: the transmitter
and the receiver.
The transmitter is installed on the side of the fork to detect
whether the fork collides and send the signal to the receiver
after the collision.
After receiving the collision signal, the receiver transmits the
collision signal to the PLC through high/low level (24V/0V)
signals, and the PLC controls the fork to stop quickly.
This set of devices has an intelligent battery power warning
function, which is convenient for users to replace the battery in
a timely manner.
It can be sensed with a small triggering
force ≤ 20N

Telescopic forks suitable for clean environment
Telescopic forks used in freezers require low-temperature
resistance, and corresponding requirements are
imposed on fork materials, motors, encoders, lubricating
grease, and assembly clearances. MIAS has nearly 1,000
applications of telescopic forks in low-temperature
automated stereoscopic warehouses, all of which
operate extremely stably.
There are generally two types of high-temperature
environments for telescopic forks. One is that
the telescopic fork itself is in a high-temperature
environment, such as aging workshops in the new
energy industry, painting workshops in home appliance
and automobile industries, etc., where the temperature
is usually below 100° C. In such cases, electrical
components, lubricating grease, and mechanical
assembly all require special treatment.
The other is that the goods carried by the telescopic
forks are high-temperature, such as those from metal
smelting furnaces and vacuum furnaces. In such working
conditions, the temperature of the goods is 150° C-200° C
in low cases and over 800° C in high cases, while the
environment where the telescopic fork itself is located
is at room temperature. This requires proper heat
insulation treatment to prevent heat conduction, and the
assembly of the telescopic fork also needs appropriate
handling.
In the chip and semiconductor industries, telescopic
forks are also used in automated stereoscopic
warehouses and internal handling. Telescopic forks used
in such environments generally require clean treatment.
MIAS has practical cases of clean-type telescopic forks
applied in the semiconductor field, and we can provide
series of telescopic forks with class 100 cleanliness level.
