Opening Distance of Top Hung Windows Varies with Installation Positions of the retractablearm When the retractablearm is installed at different positions,the opening distance of the top hungwindowdiffers.According to China'sdoorandwindow standards,the opening distance of the top hung window should be controlled within 3 0 0mm .Therefore,during installation,it is preferable to position itasclose to the lower sideas possible.(As shown in the following diagram) \*Note:After installation,the knob of the lower slot should face upward.
1) During the installationof the retractablearm,ensure that the installation positions onboth sidesare as symmetrical as possible,withadeviationnot exceeding 1mm. 2) If the height of the sash is no more than 1m,installing the telescopic stay is not necessary.
3)Try to avoid using the retractablearm in high-rise buildings or areas with strong winds (e.g.,seaside regions).
4)When the top hung window is unattended,keep it closed.In windy conditions, close it promptly.
2.Usage Method of the retractable arm After fixing the retractable arm:-First,push the sash outward until it reaches the maximum position.Then pullit back inward; a “click"sound indicates thatit has locked into place.-Whenclosing the sash:Push it outward firstto disengage from the locking position,then pullit toward the closing direction until the sash is fully closed.
3.Usage Method of the retractable arm's Locking Plate When there is basically no wind pressure risk outdoors,the locking plate can be used:-After pushing the retractable arm to the open position,manually push the locking plate into the groove to prevent theretractable arm fromspringing back suddenly.The locking plate servesasa safetydevice.Since the telescopic stay itself isa locked support,the locking plate isonlyanauxiliary device.-For thespecific usagemethod of the lockingplate,referto the diagramon the right.
