building water supply pipeline systems to buffer water hammer
effects.
It absorbs water hammer energy through the compression
mechanism of a sealed pressure chamber.

Water hammer arrester
When the fluid accelerates or decelerates very quickly due to the rapid closure of valves or faucets or the stop of circulation
pumps, water hammer occurs in closed pipelines.
This impact lies in the propagation of overpressure and underpressure along the pipeline, which may lead to noise and
damage to the entire system. When installed near single rod mixing faucets, solenoid valves, ball valves, etc., water
hammer eliminators can prevent such negative effects.
The application of water hammer arresters complies with EN806-2 specification for installations inside buildings conveying
water.
Functions
The suggested approach, as described below, is to install the water hammer arrester either next to the end-user fixture or
at the main inlet of a distribution manifold that supplies a small cluster of household appliances.
